McElwain said today that there were two players from the recruiting class who may not meet standards, but couldn’t say who. We will know Saturday. Reports from the strength and conditioning staff was that the linemen were picking up size and strength, but no exact weights.

any status on Tonga and Lihauli? We could use that kind of size at NT. Any insight on how much bigger our other DL are getting? mainly Brown, Tiedgena and Wilson – if we can get those guys up around 285, that would help.

any status on Tonga and Lihauli? if they make it, we could have 2 good sized NT’s. Any insight on how much bigger Brown, Wilson and Tiedgen are? I hope we can get those guys aroung 280-285lbs. Do you think Tucci will get on the field – he is in the 300lbs range.

Nice coverage of the media days. I’m cautiously optomistic about this year, but overall I’m really excited about the new direction of the program! Sep 1st can’t come soon enough!

So what “base” D scheme is the Staff implementing… 4-3-4, 3-4-4, or a 4-2-5?

What “alternate” schemes do they hope to employ?

Super attitude for the new offensive coach. Like it very much! I have not heard for sure yet whom the defensive cooridnator will be? Did Jim get Don Wink Martindale??

Yes, it does have a bright future. To bad it doesn’t have the support it deserves. Only $360,000.00 in base pay for the head coach. Who are they going to get besides someone just using it to take a better job later. CSU needs money but doesn’t seem to have any real rich boosters to come up with the finances necessary. I wish I had a few million to give to the Rams but $25.00 is all I can afford.
